New York Past & Present is an immersive exhibit celebrating the city's enduring influence on culture, design, and identity. Featuring a wide range of works- from vintage apparel to rare signage, collectibles and ephemera- the exhibition highlights the creative forces that shape New York City's visual DNA.
Contributors included the New York Sign Museum, a local non-profit dedicated to protecting the city’s iconic street-level typography and signage; Photographer Brian Kelley, who shares a rare collection of NYC transit artifacts spanning over a century; Hunter Carlin, a collector and curator of subcultural objects rooted in skateboarding, graffiti, and streetwear; and Carlos Juarbe, who presents a deep archive of vintage New York Mets apparel that explores the team’s cultural legacy through the lens of fashion and fandom.
